The Enneagram of Masculinity

A weekend experiment for men willing to participate, not just attend.

I'm inviting a small group of men into a weekend experiment.

That's the cleanest way I know how to say it.

This is not a retreat where I'm showing up with everything perfectly figured out. I'm in it with you. I'm walking into the same ritual, the same questions, the same discomfort, the same remembering.

It's built for men who feel the gap between the man they look like on the outside and what's actually happening inside, and are tired of trying to fix that gap alone.

The weekend is built around connection to ourselves, connection to what's actually alive, observation instead of fixing, ritual, honesty, movement, play, and the kind of safety that lets something real come forward.

We're going to be looking at nine elements that represent different parts of life: identity, desire, integrity, surrender, accountability, structure, testing, stability, safety. You'll be asked to bring a physical representation of each of these. They don't need to be perfect or deep, just real things from your life that feel connected to those words. If something is missing, we'll pay attention to that too.

Friday

For anyone who can come early, we will spend time outside and go fishing. Friday night we will share dinner, drop in, and start telling the truth about the objects we brought and why they matter.

Saturday

Saturday will be more quiet, more internal, and more observational. We will spend the day outside, on the land, sitting in observation with what comes up, and practicing the ability to hold more than one thing at once: thought and breath, discomfort and safety, movement and stillness.

Sunday

Sunday morning we will have breakfast, coffee, and a final circle. Each man will have space to share what he is taking with him. We will plan to roll out around 10:30 or 11.

This is not about trying to solve yourself in a day. It's about watching what's there without immediately needing to manage it.

There will also be some physical work. Not a workout. Not a program. Just a way to get into the body, feel the friction, and pay attention.

Saturday evening we'll break the fast together, share a meal, and stay close to the experience without rushing to explain it. Then we'll move into music, dancing, listening, and play.

It might get weird. That's part of it. But the weird will have containment. Direction. Safety. A place to land.

A few things to know before signing up

  • This is an experiment.
  • It will ask something of you.
  • It will not be overly polished.
  • It will not be a performance.
  • You do not need to have the right words.
  • You do need to be willing to show up honestly.
  • You need to be open to silence, movement, story, discomfort, laughter, and being seen by other men.

If you want something perfectly packaged, this probably is not it.

If you feel pulled toward a weekend of ritual, honesty, play, observation, and remembering who you are under the noise, reserve your spot below.
